Poppy has a diverse background with horses ranging from vaulting to eventing. She has been an avid horsewoman since the age of two when she learned to ride on the bridlepaths of England with her family. She has worked in Maryland for an upper level eventing barn and for USDF trainer and clinician Nancy Kleiner. She qualified to lunge at the prestigious World Equestrian Games for the National Champion Womens Vaulter in 2010, has trained all types of horses and ponies in therapeutic riding programs, and worked as an assistant for Leone Equestrians in the hunter/jumper discipline. She is now dedicated to developing a successful career in the hunter/jumper industry with VanVleckSporthorses
