Patty Hunter

Assistant Trainer

An avid equestrian since the age of seven, Patty has assisted Kelly since 2003. Patty’s talent for training horses to jump began early, with her first junior horse – a ranch horse from Idaho. Continuing on throughout her amateur and professional riding career, Patty has also trained several off-the-track Thoroughbreds to jump and to compete successfully in equitation, medal, jumper and hunter classes throughout California.  

Kelly's teaching/training program is easy fit for Patty. She’s passionate about teaching her students to ride with confidence and also loves the challenge of training young horses for the show ring.

Patty, who’s been married to husband Jim – a horseman – for 30 years, divulges that their lives revolve completely around their passion for horses.
